Biography
Hamid Al Ali is a retired Air Force officer, global traveler, Master Scuba Diver and a photographer whose work captures the raw beauty of nature, wildlife, and the human connection to landscape. With over three decades of leadership experience, including senior executive roles in government and industry across the MENA region, Hamid brings a unique discipline and perspective to his artistic journey.
Having visited more than 113 countries, Hamid’s photography reflects not only technical mastery but also a deep respect for culture, environment, and the fleeting moments that define a place. His portfolio spans vast African savannas, serene Japanese springs, bustling airshows, and quiet golden hour reflections — each image telling a story rooted in presence and purpose.
Hamid is the author of “Kenya: A View Through My Lens”, and his galleries include wildlife, landscape, and underwater photography.
Balancing his military discipline with an artist’s eye, Hamid continues to explore the world with humility, curiosity, and a lens that seeks meaning beyond the frame.
